So that was interesting.

Since this a new blog, hopefully with some new readers (and hello to you), I’d better set the scene.

Hi, my name is Josh.

…You know what?  there’s no really exciting way to do an entire post encapsulating who I am and what my life is like.  Here, then, are a few disorganized bullet points.

~I live in New York, and I love it.

~Want a dog some day, preferably a beagle, but a smart and quiet beagle.

~I have an awesome girlfriend named Elle.  However, that’s not her real name.  Privacy and so forth, you understand.

~My name either really is Josh or it isn’t.  I’m not tellin’.

~I’m from the midwest.  I don’t let it go to my head.

~I love food, whether I’m cooking it or being served it.  I also dig good wine, good beer, and Netflix.

~Music whore.  Check.

~I have one brother, two parents, two step-parents and one ex-step-parent.  One grandmother, an aunt and an uncle, and fourteen cousins.  I don’t see enough of any of these people.

~That’s about it.

On a completely unrelated note:  I just killed a cockroach on my floor.  It damn-well better have been one, lost and lonely, friggin’ cockroach.
